Mr. Fillion,

Please pass along to your students our heartfelt thanks for welcoming us into their school last Friday. Their presentation was clear, poignant, and emotional. The tragedy of the Thresher really made an impact by the students parading each name in front of the audience. I thought they did a great job. As we say in the Navy for a job well done - Bravo Zulu!

It was such a joy to present our Thresher float to them and answer their questions. This piece was originally intended to be shown only in parades and recruit new members to our organization. It was a pleasant side effect to use it as a teaching tool to show young people how life on board a nuclear submarine can be.

Again, many thanks to you and your students. I think I had more fun than they did on Friday.
