The Thresher Memorial Project Group is seeking additional sponsorship donations for the following

Memorial Circle  and Memorial Park/Circle of Honor  USS Thresher Memorial elements including:

KITTERY MAINE MEMORIAL CIRCLE


Memorial Circle “Gold Braid” landscaping around the USS Thresher Memorial Flag including 100 “golden mop cypress shrubs planted in a circle 100 feet from and surrounding the granite flagpole base.            $2,000

MEMORIAL PARK / CIRCLE OF HONOR  - adjacent to Town Hall in memorial to the USS Thresher and other military service veterans


A.     Memorial Park Flowering Trees - six - beautiful flowering and fall color Bradford Pear trees (with donor plaque)     $ 3,000




B.     Memorial Park Evergreen Fir Tree – one – 8 to 10 feet tall evergreen balsam fir tree standing at attention behind the USS Thresher memorial stone (with plaque).            $ 1,000




C.  Memorial Historic Plaques – four – approximately 24” x 24” x 4’ tall  plaques with historic photographs and text describing the USS Thresher, mission and value mounted on a 4-foot tall post and located in one in Memorial Park and three at other locations around the outside of Memorial Circle and oriented to pedestrians viewing the USS Thresher Memorial Flag.        $ 500 each

 

D.     MemorialWaterBasin Stone – 12 feet long, 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall granite stone with reflective water holding area. (with plaque).            $ 5,000
